Hi, I’m Siphiwo Bruce Mkele, the founder and lead guide of Walmer Township Tours. I run the Tours alongside, Purity Khosa, founder of Skheto Tours and an experienced nature (marine) guide.

Based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), also born and bred in Walmer Township, I’ve spent my life learning, living, and sharing the stories of my community. Walmer Township is more than just a place, it’s a vibrant hub of history, culture, and resilience. From the powerful legacy of Steve Biko and Moki Cekisa to the everyday lives of its people, every corner of the township has a story waiting to be discovered.

I started this journey to change how the world sees Walmer Township. This isn’t just a location; it’s a community woven with resilience and rich culture.
